Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use GoPlanEvent. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use GoPlanEvent for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at hello@goplanevent.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

2. Free trial and plans

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full access, without a payment card. When the trial ends, you need a paid plan to keep using the app; your data is kept, and agreements you already sent stay available to your clients. Plans are billed per user, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown on our website when you subscribe. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice.

3. Your content and your clients

You own everything you put into GoPlanEvent: your business details, templates, clients, agreements and invoices. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to use your clients’ information and for telling them how you use it.

4. Agreements, templates and e-signatures

GoPlanEvent provides tools to write agreements and collect electronic signatures, and example templates to start from. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. You are responsible for the content of your agreements and invoices and for making sure they suit your business and the laws that apply to you. We record each signature with the signer’s typed name, date, time and IP address, and keep a locked copy of the signed text.

5. Email and calendar

When you connect Gmail, emails are sent from your own account at your request. Do not use GoPlanEvent to send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or anything unlawful, misleading or harmful. Google’s own terms also apply to your Google account.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other accounts or our systems without permission, no overloading or disrupting the service, no reverse engineering, and no content that infringes others’ rights. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep GoPlanEvent running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable. We may add, change or remove features. Please keep your own copies of important documents (you can download any agreement or invoice as a PDF).

8. Ending your account

You can stop using GoPlanEvent and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your account if you break these terms or do not pay for your plan. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep data.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, GoPlanEvent is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use GoPlanEvent after that means you accept the new terms.
